iPhone XR speakers
Does anyone else have the issue of the speakers being a little muffled when you have it on speaker phone? I use to have an iPhone 6 Plus and never had this issue, so?

If you are using a case, remove it and try again.
Also see:
If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker
