IPad Pro 11” Power On Power Off

Actually, powering off the new 11” iPad Pro with Face ID is a little different.

Use one of the following two methods:

• Settings > General > Shut Down
• Press and hold the top button and either volume button until the slider appears.

Yes, you should power-off your iPad if you don't plan on using it for awhile.

You power-up or power-down this iPad Pro using the "On/Off - Sleep/Wake" button. For the latter you press this button momentarily, for the former, press and hold down the button until the iPad starts up or shuts down.
