Apple Music is charging me twice. Why?

I purchased Apple Music a year or so ago. Everything has worked perfectly up until the last two months. I paid the monthly fee last friday (January 25th) and now I am being charged again and says I need to update my billing information. I have a receipt and an email from Apple and the money was taken yet I still need to pay again. Why?


For the record, no I don't have anybody else's account in my phone. I never had this issue until now.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!  I use Apple Music to keep me on track throughout the day, so I can understand your concern. I’d like to help!


It looks like you’re being billed more than once for your Apple Music.  How iTunes Store purchases are billed has some information regarding holds and and how to report a problem regarding a purchase.
