search asterisk in keyboard Mcbook air 2018

I am in USA and I have my keyboard in Spanish . The keys for * is 8 but I can’t active it !

If you see * on the 8 key, then it sounds like your hardware keyboard is US. If you have set your OS keyboard to Spanish ISO, you will find * on Shift ] and / on Shift 7.

If you have a Spanish hardware keyboard, then you should see * on the + key and / on the 7 key.
