MacOS can't connect to Personal Hotspot in iOS

Hello!

When I connect from my macOS latest (MacBook Pro) to iOS latest version on iPhone SE this is work true only first time. After reconnect work only true only after reset network settings and reconfigure Personal Hotspot on iOS.

I see macOS can't get IP address (connection had self-assigned IP when error and have 172.20.10.2 when ok).

Other devices can connect to Personal Hotspot on iOS without any trouble.

This issue start from 10.12 version, and not fixed in last update.

Try this...

Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.

Oh, I thought it fixed it, but you're correct about the headache.

I think maybe the problem is on the Mac, it likely remembering & trying past networks, in Sys Prefs>Network, highlight Wifi, click Advanced>Wifi, what networks are shown there?
