Does anybody know if this model is an iPod Classic model?

It's a fifth generation model from the same product line as the iPod Classic; Apple didn't use that term prior to the sixth generation ones.

Thanks for that. Then I guess it is not really called an iPod Classic as it seems to be referred to as an iPod 5th generation with video
