Problem unlocked phone with bestbuy

I bought iphone xs in best buy and i request unlocked phone because i will use in mexico(my sim from Mexico)but i need to use in USA too installed new phone and check my IMEI. Said locked SIM . I don't know who is company of phone and how i will do Help me plz

iphone xs max sim locked problem Hi; My friend bought an Iphone XS Max for me from US by Bestbuy store. She paid cash and the phone was not a contract phone. Upon arrival, I registered the device with compliance to my government requirements. I found out that the device is a sim locked version and I cannot use with my gsm carrier. The IMEI serial numbers are now registered in my country, so no legal or registeration issues left for me to do in order to use this device in my country. We contacted Bestbuy but they only say "the phone has to be in US, in their store, but for me no way to be there. After contacting Turkey Apple Customer Service I learned that the Sim Lock can be unlocked only by the carrier with which the phone was meant to work. They didn't help me. locked mobile I bought an iPhone 12 Pro mobile from USA (Walmart He worked with me on the American SIM, and after returning to Saudi Arabia, I tried to use the Saudi SIM, but unfortunately it did not work please help

Best Buy does not sell unlocked phones. If they told you the phone was unlocked, they lied.

Return it and get your money back or contact the carrier it's locked to and see if they will unlock it.

You need to approach BestBuy if you paid for an unlocked iPhone they need to supply you with one.
