Print not working in Safari on iOS

We have an iPhone 7 Plus with iOS 12.0.1 which we are having an issue with.

When a document is opened and we click the share button the print icon is there, but doesn't function. The print function works from mail and other apps however.

Is there a known method of fixing this?
