Printing from EQ8

I have contacted support for EQ8 - Electric Quilt 8. I can't print. I get this error -

They tell me it is a corruption in Mojave and I must reinstall.

I should say ....I can print from other applicaitons.

Any other thoughts?

Hi there,

I don't believe you have any corruption with Mojave and reinstalling the OS will not resolve the issue with printing from EQ8 because EQ Product Support does say that the software will not operate correctly on 10.14.

"We are currently working on converting Electric Quilt 8 (EQ8) from a 32-bit application to a 64-bit application. This conversion for EQ8 will take months to complete, but will be available before Apple’s tentative Fall 2019 deadline of the macOS 10.15 release. You will be notified of the free update for EQ8 when available."

Once they release the 64bit version of EQ8 then you should find that printing will operate correctly.

In the meantime, you may be able to save your prints from the application as a PDF and then open the PDF in Preview so as to print it.
