If you have been blocked on iMessage and you send a message, will it say "delivered"?
I have been texting someone and it says "delivered" but I haven't received any reply yet.
Does that mean I am blocked?

I have heard people saying it can say delivered even if they have blocked you.

Yeah but shouldn't APPLE have a definite answer on whether it says "delivered" or not if blocked?I mean sometimes it says "delivered" when blocked and some others it doesn't?I've tried searching on so many different websites and I can't find a clear answer from anybody about this.I mean shouldn't it be a standard answer?
Well, APPLE is not here. This is a user to user technical support forum. However, you have received the answer from KiltedTim. The person who is blocked won't know they are blocked. That would defeat the purpose, wouldn't it? So, as KiltedTim told you, it will indicate to you that it is "delivered".

I thought someone might have an official answer from APPLE here.
I tried it with a friend's phone too.
I blocked my number on a friend's iPhone and sent an imessage and it was blue but never said delivered.
I then unblocked my number, sent another one and it said delivered.
Well, again, this is a user to user support forum, so no one from Apple is here to provide an "official word". Sounds like you have tested this and you are seeing a different result. Frankly, I'm surprised that it didn't show delivered for the first message because the sender is not supposed to know that they are blocked, and that would seem like a bit of a tip-off.
However, I also just tested this by blocking myself on my husband's phone, and you are correct - it did not show as "delivered", but the next message sent moments later after I had unblocked myself. What I haven't been able to test yet is whether it behaves the same way when you are sending an SMS/MMS message. If I can test that, I will post back.

I just tested the thing you said about SMS out of curiosity.
I blocked my number on my friend's phone and sent an SMS and it sent as green and didn't say anything underneath. My friend never received it though. Then I sent another SMS without me being blocked and it sent as green again, didn't say anything underneath and they received it.
Oh, good to know. I just confirmed on an earlier post by my buddy IdrisSeabright, that you are correct. The "delivered" tag only shows for iMessages.
So, now we know. Seems a bit counterintuitive. But, since the message actually isn't delivered, it is accurate, even if it does kind of give away the "blocker"....

It just says "Delivered". You do not know if he/she have read it. So have patience, God is great.
That's right. It can.
Call them and ask. If they won't take your calls either, then you may have your answer.
Apple may well be able to give you an answer that will satisfy you. Ask them.
