Macs have been 64 bit for several years. You can and likely are running 64 bit apps now.

If you have the iMac indicated in your signature, it can run 64 bit Apps. The Apple warning regarding 64 bit Apps only applies to the next release of the Mac OS, after 10.14.

Up to Mojave 10.14.x you can run 32 bit or 64 bit Apps, once you upgrade to 10.15.x then only 64 bit Apps will run.
