Intuit ProSeries tax software with Parallels or Libre Open Source?

My accountant is retiring and I am going to try to use his tax software on my 2018 MacBook Pro. It's window based. I can use Parallels with Windows or can I use an open source software program such as Libre to run this tax software on my Mac? If I can use Libre, is if fairly easy and intuitive to use?

This is the tax software: https://proconnect.intuit.com/proseries/pricing-main/#

Many thanks for any assistance -

You can install Windows using a virtual machine like Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox. You can also install Windows using Boot Camp Assistant. I don't know what Libre is or how you would install Windows using it.
