How to get rid of searchitnow.global.ssl.fastly

Any search that I do on safari is getting redirected to bing via this:

h_ttps://goto-searchitnow.global.ssl.fastly.net (I have inserted a _ into the above address so that it doesnt appear as a clickable link on this post)

How can I get rid of this redirect? I have tried uninstalling flash player, resetting safari, but no luck yet. I dont see searchitnow on Safar Extensions, so I dont know where this darn thing is hiding.

This redirect happens when I either search using the safari address bar, with the search engine set to google, or when I go to google.com and do a search there.

I have noticed that there is no automatic redirect when I search using DuckDuckGo or using Yahoo

Before trying to remove this nasty malware, it would be nice to some details about it.

Download EtreCheck: https://etrecheck.com/maspro  and post the report here.

Click, “Free Download” button and then  “Click to download” button,

open Downloads folder, click on it to open, and then select ”Open”.

Click on the bouncing  EtreCheck icon in the Dock.

“Choose a problem” from the popup menu box, and then “Start EtreCheck” in the dialog.

Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” .

Paste the report when you reply.
