this ipad is disabled and will not connect to itunes.

my ipad is disabled. It won't connect to itunes without a password. I can't turn the ipad off any way I try. itunes wants a password and I can't get in!!

Use recovery mode : If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

You've connected it to computer ? If your computer's iTunes isn't recognising it when you connect it : If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support
