The first release of any Adobe Acrobat product that is compatible with Mojave was in September 2018 as Acrobat v2019, and this was again updated recently to v2019.010. Start with this current version.

Before you do that though, quit Acrobat, and look in the following location for anything Adobe related and move it to, and empty the Trash. In the Finder, press shift+command+G to open the Go To Folder dialog, and copy/paste the following in it:

~/Library/Caches

Now, proceed with installing v2019.010 Acrobat DC.

Thanks, but I tried that already. Removed all things adobe. Even used Clean My Mac after the first failed attempt. I am not able to install any version of Acrobat. Adobe claims version XI pro is compatible with 10.14.2. I wish I had not upgraded to Mojave, should have known pre-determined obsolescence would be eventually at play. I can go back, to the previous OS, but kind of a nightmare to go through all that especially when I don't feel confident it will go without a hitch. Isn't there something from the crash log which can tell me what and where to place a missing file or something?
