Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Apple Music

I pay a monthly Apple subscription but seemingly get charged when downloading songs.

These are downloaded by pressing the download ‘button’ next to the song. I then add it to my library or playlist.

When reading previous questions re this subject, it appears that ‘Apple’ music is free but not I-tunes.

Surely downloading within the Apple Music app is ‘Apple’ and not ‘Itunes’?

What am I doing wrong/missing here?

Thanks

Hello TBG-Man.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

If I'm understanding correctly, you are being billed for downloading music, however you have an Apple Music membership. I will be glad to help.

I would suggest contacting support. Here's how: contact Apple Support.

Cheers.

thank you for answering but I don't know what you mean!

please explain where I find the Apple Music Library!!

i go onto the icon with a Music symbol of 2 notes together. Is this Itunes? I thought this is an Apple app as i go onto 'For You' selections etc.

Please help with more detail.

i live way out in the country with no way of getting to an Apple store for assistance so am relying on you to explain succinctly which has not happened yet.

kindly do not assume that everyone is 'app' or 'Apple' wise
