I would like to download .csv files to numbers, how can I do this?

Two things you can do:


1) Control-click, Open With...


2) To permanently associate csv files with Numbers, select one such file, press command-I, and in the Get Info window choose Open With: Numbers, then click "Change All"

Luis & Keith. Thanks to you both for working on this problem for me. What I had to do was to download the .csv file and then drag to my desktop from the download folder. After a double-click, it did in fact open in Numbers. I will still have to copy the data and paste in another workbook. BUT, at least I won't have to go through Excel. I have Excel for Mac 2011 and don't feel like spending $$ on a new version. Thanks again
