Date & Time Set Automatically on Forever?

Today I tried going into my settings to turn off the set automatically for date & time. But it will not let me turn it off, I keep pressing the button but it remains off. I tried turning my phone on and off but it still won’t let me turn it off. Does it stay on forever?

This may sound weird and absurd but is true.

Settings > Screen Time > Turn off Passcode for Screen Time

GO to

Settings > General > Date & Time > Set Automatically is accessible now,

You may now set passcode for Screen Time (Remember this will disable Time Zone Setting)

Just an FYI - it may seem weird, but it is not absurd. If a passcode is set on Screen Time, then the ability to change the Date & Time is disabled. This is to prevent kids from doing just that in order to extend their allowed time to access games and other apps on their devices. When they could do that, they just changed it to get more time.
