How to pay for iCloud storage WITHOUT using store credit?

My wife and I are on a family plan, but do separate 50GB / 99 cents a month iCloud storage plans because we don't need the 200 GB / $2.99 a month plan.

However, after noticing my credit card on the family plan was charged for her iCloud storage, I looked at her purchase history and saw that throughout last year, her store credit was charged 99 cents each month for the storage.

Is there any way to NOT have store credit charged for iCloud storage? She likes to have the credit to buy music, not for an iCloud storage sub.

Thanks!

No, sorry. But if you are a member of Family Sharing, and you have an iTunes & App Store credit, then any charges (including iCloud Storage charges) will be take from the member's credit before it will go to the Organizer's credit card.

That method is actually the only way that a Family Member can pay for their own charges, and we get many posts asking how to do that since in many families, there are other adults in the plan, and the Organizer does not want to pay for their purchases.
