Logitech Keyboard media controls

Anyone else using a logitech keyboard with built in media control?

The play, pause, mute, next track all work, but the volume control ONLY controls the computer volume. It doesn't control the iTunes volume control.

I play songs while in games, and it would be nice to control itunes volume independently of computer volume to give me control.

Anyone have luck getting a Logitech keyboard media control to adjust itunes volume and not system volume?

PC, Windows XP

I have one of these keyboards too, and no, there's no way to do what you want. The volume keys on most multimedia keyboards are linked to one of the system volume controls, which is linked to how the sound card works. The iTunes volume control is programmatic, and digital. The system volume controls work through hardware, and are digital interfaces to an analog circut.

Long winded explanation aside, it won't work the way you want and it's really better to use the system volumes for adjusting that sort of thing anyway because it prevents introduction of digital volume adjustment artifacts (aka rounding error).
