iMessage gifs/#images

Hey Apple Universe,

i can’t seem to find my gifs on iMessage anymore. Yes I’ve looked in the tray, tied to add it to the tray ( to no avail because it’s simply evaporated ), checked my region and language and tried to save a gif in hopes that’ll magically reactivate. I have yet to see anything online that says to try anything differently.

Ergo, I’d be really really appreciative of any one offering a solution.
