hi all, I'm heading away for few days with no internet and i need to do some work.
Is there a way to export in bulk safari bookmarks to your reading list for offline viewing? Can this be done without opening up each page and adding them individually?

I don't know of anyway to do what you want because when a site is bookmarked, the contents of the web site aren't saved to your computer. For offline reading, the articles need to be saved. You can set Safari/Preferences/Advanced/Reading list to Save article automatically when the article is added to the reading list.
Make sure Reading List items are viewable offline: Safari > Preferences > Advanced and check Reading List: Save articles for offline reading automatically. If all the bookmarks are in a folder: from the bookmarks bar click the folder and click Open in New Tabs. Or from the Show Bookmarks page you opened right-click the folder and select Open in New Tabs. Once all the tabs are opened, from Safari's menubar go Bookmarks > Add These <n> Tabs to Reading List.
