When apple lets us use eu exit application

are my devices useful or useless for use with this application

Do you mean the 'EU Exit: Document Check' application? According to the official website:
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/using-the-eu-exit-id-document-check-app
this requires an Android device with NFC. There have been complaints elsewhere that this has not been made available for iOS. What you are supposed to do if you don't have the required device is not made clear. I can only assume that you will have to take the documents to be looked at by a real person, but you would have to contact the relevant authority to find out about this.
