you won't believe this

I got the iphone 4 but didn't have the right software. so I went out and bought snowleopard but don't have enought ram. If I buy ram will that work? I ws able to get the phone up and running by connecting to my boyfriend's mac but his itunes account is now running on it and I can't order any apps.

imac, Mac OS X (10.4.2), flat panel mac

Always helps to check the system requirements before purchasing electronic devices.

You may or may not be able to upgrade your RAM depending on your system. What system to you have? Have you checked the specifications?

Beleieve me I feel like an idiot -- especially since I work in tech support. pc of course. I have a flat panel intel duo core processor running 10.4.2 with 512 mgs of ram.

Yes, add more RAM. Snow Leopard needs it and your computer will run much faster, too. A win-win deal.

In the mean time, you can go to Settings, Store, Sign out, and sign into your account. Then you can purchase apps directly to your iphone. When you get your mac more RAM, you can transfer the iphone purchases to itunes.

Your Mac will be a lot happier with more ram. You could probably get by with 2GB, but I like to run 4GB in my macs.

Lulz 512MB or RAM? Good lord that sounds like something you'd be running in 2007, ya definitely upgrade the memory it's cheap! I'd also recommend 2GB at least.
