Trying to connect an iPhone 6 and it’s saying I need to contact provider not allowing to connect to boost mobile

I purchased the phone through Best Buy the first phone was defected so Apple sent me a replacement phone I tried to connect to a different phone line through boost Mobile and I said we’re not allowed to connect contact Apple
This phone was a replacement phone straight from apple... the original I bought from best buy
Best Buy doesn't sell unlocked phones. Did you purchase one specifically for use with Boost?
Contact Apple using the Contact Us link at the top of the page. They may have sent you a phone locked to a different carrier.

I have seen a few people post here with an issue like yours, and it turned out that Apple sent them a phone of the same model but locked to the wrong carrier.
Start with contacting them for help.
