Sticky Keys

It all started when I was just randomly typing a test when suddenly my key would not go down. I had to stick a thin piece of plastic around the key to free the food crumbs that were stuck there, it really is a hassle. I was just wondering if anyone knows a way to prevent this from happening or at least to minimize the occurrences. For Information Purposes: I use a 2017 MacBook Pro 13 inch.

I had a few sticky keys that never got resolved so I got the keyboard replaced under Apple's service program.

It was free of charge.

After I received the MacBook back, I purchased a keyboard cover and haven't had the problem again. This was the keyboard cover I purchased.
