Apple ID is not saving/updating my security code. Anyone have a suggestion?

I changed my apple id amd pw with not problem but, while inputting oayment info, my security code and exp date not saving.

iPhone 8, 12

They are not stored on an account, they are only used when entered to check that they are correct (About payment card authorization holds from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support) - when you go back into the payment details screen they will be blank.

When you changed your Apple ID and password, did you update your billing information? Did you change the Apple ID/password or create a new Apple ID?

Thanks for that info. I am still getting a message that unable to make purchase authorization failed. Would it have anything to do with me changing my apple id and password?

I created a new apple id and password as I no longer have the email it was previously under. I took all the required steps to update my payment and billing info to the new account.
