One or more audio files changed in length!

I had Logic Pro X give me this message on one of my projects "One or more audio files changed in length!" and it screwed up the entire project. I noticed some people were also having troubles but it didn't look like there were any solutions for people. I believe I found a solution to quickly save your project. So if you get this message and your project is all out of alignment:

  1. Close the project without saving
  2. Go to your project folder.
  3. Move all the audio files from the audio file folder to another folder (just create a random folder)
  4. Open the project
  5. When it says files missing click skip all
  6. Now your project should open fine without the message "One or more audio files changed in length!"
  7. Move your audio files back into the original project audio files folder
  8. Go into logic project and open the Project files browser
  9. manually locate each audio file so your project is now back to normal
  10. SAVE AS the project as a completely new project
  11. Delete orinal project and your newly saved project should now be back to normal

Cheers,

I hope this helps someone down the road!
