Can’t get rid of “Connected to Airplay” display on screen
When I use Airplay to watch something on my phone or iPad it says “Connected to Airplay” in the middle of the screen. How do I get it to go away?

This is built-in functionality for iOS apps, to choose to not mirror, but only forward the video to Apple TV (“basic AirPlay”). The choice is with the app developer, not the user. You can’t get it to go away while doing AirPlay. It will go away when you stop AirPlay.
