My dog chewed up my airpod charging case. He punctured the battery and the case is broken. I don’t know what my next course of action should be. Should i bring it in to my local apple store and see what they can do as far as repairs, or if I should just purchase a new charging case?
IMHO, you should get the Charging Case replaced. AirPods Repair - Official Apple Support provides cost details for a replacement.
Unfortunately, no. According to the previously linked article:
"Our warranty doesn't cover damage caused by accidents or unauthorized modifications. You can see your warranty status from Apple’s coverage checker. If there’s an error in our records, update your information online."
Is there any way I could get it replaced for free or at some sort of discounted price or do I have to pay another $80 for the new charging case?
