Hangouts error message

Google Hangouts on IPhone 8, IOS 12, was working fine and the next I started receiving a message that reads “unable to add account” using google account

Logging into Hangouts with google account, I’m getting an error message “unable to add account” from Hangouts

If your using the hangouts app i would suggest deleting the app and reinstalling. Failing that i would suggest getting in touch with google as Hangouts isn't an Apple supported app
