iTunes 12.6.5 does not support app updates any longer

Just spoken to an Apple Senior iTunes Specialist after my iTunes 12.6.5 was unable to download app updates. She has informed it is end of life for this version and apps have to be updated on each devices since yesterday. This is just not on!

Don't know what you are saying about this issue. I run iTunes 12.6.5 with Sierra and I just updated three Apps using iTunes 12.6.5

The reason I use Sierra is the default iTunes install is earlier than 12.6.5 so then I could install it and over write the previous. If I tried to install iTunes 12.6.5 on a later system version then I'd need to create a unique library using the option key during the install.

You don't describe anything; what operating system, how did you install iTunes 12.6.5. what model Mac if you are even using a Mac. I don't know.

Even I’m a Mac user before iPhone even came out. I’ll be moving to Android phone for sure since I’ve been having issues after issues since I got Xs Max and Xs. The message forwarding isn’t working for text messages on the new models and it has been 3 months the issue still not fixed. I’ve been calling Apple Care almost every week and they keep on changing the case owner because I couldn’t get in touch with the previous one.
