Casting DRM contents from iOS device to Linux display
Hi,
Just would like to know: is there any way for an iOS device to cast DRM (Digital Rights Management) contents to Linux-based display? Thanks in advance.

Greetings Hughes Lin,
Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities! It seems you're curious if it's possible to use AirPlay to stream DRM protected music from an iOS device to a Linux-based display.
AirPlay allows you to stream audio from an Apple device to an AirPlay-compatible speaker, which includes DRM protected music, such as content from Apple Music. You can see the devices you're able to stream AirPlay to from the "Devices you can stream to" section of the following guide: AirPlay system requirements
Cheers.
Chris,
Thanks for your reply. Basically I would like to know if it's possible to stream DRM protected "video" from an iOS device to a Linux-based display. Per your reply, the DRM audio streaming will need to have a "Works with Apple AirPlay" speaker to stream to, is it also true that we will also need to have "Works with Apple AirPlay" display to stream video from iOS devices? Thanks again.
What is a Linux-based display? Be aware that much DRM video will not stream except in certain circumstances.
Linux-based display: for example, a vehicle's rear seat entertainment system. The system is Linux based and has a display.
