Time capsule just died.
No light, no power, nothing. Support says too bad. Shouldn't a backup device be designed for reliability? I am not impressed. Apple should take responsibility for selling junk devices.

Depending on what model of Time Capsule that you have, and the age of the device, repairs might be possible.
What is the model number of your Time Capsule?
Approximately how old is the Time Capsule?
If you have one of the older "flat" or "square" versions of the Time Capsule, the model number is on the bottom of the device, usually embedded in the foam pad base. The model number starts with an "A" followed by four numbers.
Are you actually asking for assistance with troubleshooting your Time Capsule or just posting a rant? Sorry, but I can't tell from the wording of your post. If it's the former, then it looks like Bob is leading you in the right direction so that we can try to help you.
