I am trying to get my iTunes music on my new phone

I hooked up my iPhone to my desktop to sync my iTunes music on my new phone but get the message "This iPhone is supervised by another computer and cannot be used with this computer." How can I fix it?

When I plug in my phone iTunes thinks it is my iPad.

iPhone 6s, 12

Where did you get that phone?

It sounds like it's being managed by a corporate MDM and has been restricted so that the user can't sync it to a local computer. That's not uncommon for company owned devices.
