"Yes iTunes will let you sync from two computers, but it will not let you sync music, apps, pictures orvideo from both...you have to pick which computer to sync what ..from."
i'm sorry, but this is ********. why on earth would anyone ever think it's a good idea to make a requirement like that?
this is the dumbest design decision i've heard in a long time. talk aboot inaccessible.
There are software packages that allow you to sync your data on any computer to iDevices basically it uploads the data to their servers then download it to the iDevice. The ones I like are
SugarSync (www.sugarsync.com)
Syncplicity (www.syncplicity.com)
I tried both, and what I do not like about SugarSync is it is not reliable and tends to hang, so the only thing you can do is delete the app from the iDevice and reinstall and re-sync. Their customer service is not responsive.
I just found syncplicity, and so far it is working well. I have it installed on my MacBook Pro and iPad, so it uploaded the folders I specified from the Macbook Pro to their servers and I sync'ed them to my iPad, so far it is working well.
SugarSync gives you 5Gb of space free and Syncplicity gives you 2Gb for free.
Make sure that you are logged into your iTunes account on the computer. Also go to the Store menu and make sure the computer is authorized. This must be the same account you were already using for the iPad.
Now try to transfer purchases again. The apps really should sync with iTunes, but never having done this myself, I could easily be wrong.
If that fails, you can refer this article about How to transfer and sync contents from iPad to Computer, which includes detailed guide to help you sync iPad files to new computer.
