is it safe to use the photostick.

Good Evening,

Have seen whilst being on Facebook the Photo stick, is this device safe to use to put my photos on or should I use a memory stick, to free up space on iPad/iPhone? Would be grateful for advice please.

Western Digital and SanDisk products are worldwide and the Photo Stick is, obviously, available in the U.K.

You can do the search for these products in your country, yourself.

You have the actual names of these products from the links I supplied

So, do your own U.K. Internet search for these devices.

Amazon U.K. may have have all of these devices.

Best of Luck!

Normal USB sticks do not work with any iDevices.

That Photo Stick Mobile works with iPhones, should work for iPads with Lightning connector, as well.

Won't work with the newest iPad Pro models because those use USB-C connection, now, but older iPads and the newest 5th and 6th gen 9.7 inch screen iPad models still use Lightning connectors.

Should work as you can download the needed iPhone app to an iPad.

That stated, there are better mobile storage options out there.

There are a few special storage devices for mobile devices. There are portable, bulit-in WiFi hotspot hard drives for mobile devices made by Western Digital and Seagate.

You need to install and use the mobile device maker’s iOS App, in this entire list, to take advantage of all these mobile storage drive features.

There are special mobile lightning connected and built in WiFi Hot spot, USB flash drives made by SanDisk (now owned by Western Digital)

This listing maybe incomplete and somewhat outdated, now. So do an online search for similar external data storage devices for iPads

Kingston Electronics makes some data storage devices for iPads/iDevices, now, too!

Someone mentioned, just recently, using on one these with an iPad that uses a wired Lightning cable from drive to iPad for faster data transfers of photos and videos.
