Safari takes 2gb of STORAGE on my iphone 7+

So i came across an article on how to clear cache on iphones and as i was checking my phone, i noticed that Safari takes 2gb of storage already. why is that???? i tried to clear the browsing data and tried also to Remove All Website Data but still not cleared from that 2gb. it Annoys me as i saw a post of a user that his Safari already took 14gb of storage. that's kinda horrible. is there a fix on this? please help.
