Album together on PC, but split on iPhone?

I added one of the albums I have downloaded on my PC to my iTunes library, and it showed up us one album. However, when I downloaded it to my iPhone, the first song (Let's call it song A) of the album was separated from the rest. However, when I go to the album that has most of the songs, the first song is listed as "2." It recognizes it as the same album, but it still separates it. Any fixes?

Back in iTunes, check to make sure that each tag of each song on the album are identical (where appropriate). Even if all looks the same, look for additional spaces after an album or artist name, the Album Artist is the same, and verify that the Compilation tag is unchecked. Sometimes these variances are hard to locate.

If you still can't figure it out, delete the album from your library (but retain the native files). Remove the album from your iPhone by re-syncing to iTunes, then re-add the native files to iTunes and re-sync the iPhone.
