I've made mistake to add the Pictures-folder to Desktop background pictures setting, and can't remove it. If the "Pictures" is selected the MINIS-icon is disabled. Can you be so kind to tell me how can I remove "Pictures" from folder-list in Desktop & Screen Saver in System Settings
FWIW, You can't delete the Pictures folder. It's one of the default protected folders which is why there is no "minus" sign. You didn't add it, it was already in the list.

Why are you wanting to remove it from the list? Jus select something else, and the fact the Pictures folder appears on this list is irrelevant.
Because when one makes a mistake he tries to fix it, and why I keep a folder in the list that I will not use.
I believe the Pictures folder cannot be removed - period in System Preferences / Desktop & Screen Savers.
I have never added any folders in that section and it has Pictures in there since I first installed High Sierra.
