Apple Watch not getting notifications

My Apple Watch isn’t connecting with my phone. It says it’s connected but I get no notifications on my watch

Not getting notifications might be the least of the problems, so why do you think it is not connecting properly? Can you make a phone call or send messages from your watch, even if it is only one of the preprogrammed canned replies? On your iPhone look in Settings/Bluetooth to see if your watch is shown as connected.


If the problem is only missing notifications, check Theater, Silent, and Do Not Disturb modes are not enabled Swipe up on the watch face for Control Center to check. If that doesn’t find a solution, see Notifications on your Apple Watch - Apple Support for how it is supposed to work and other settings you might need to check.
