Replacement card

If I rceive a replacement card with same account number but different CVV do I have to update my wallet

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.


I understand that you have received a new credit card. The number is the same, but the CVV is different. You will need to update the information on the card in your wallet. While the account number may be the same, the CVV is different and and any purchases attempted using the old CVV will be declined.


This support article will provide you with the info needed to upgrade your credit card info.


Manage the cards that you use with Apple Pay
