Muffled Sound Out of External Bluetooth Connected Speakers
macOS Mojave 10.14.3, MacBook Pro 13-inch 2017 Slider Bar
It would seem as though with the most recent update I have come across a challenge while connecting to an external pair of Bluetooth speakers. (I have a work around, just a pain on going into Sound each time I connect. Did not have to in the past.)
Scenario: Every time I boot up it connects to the speaker no problem but the sound comes through muffled. In order to correct this I have to open Sound and go to input and change the input back to Internal Microphone. It keeps jumping over to the Bluetooth speakers for microphone, which these speakers do not have a microphone.
Is the assumption that all Bluetooth speakers have a microphone? I run an AUNE mini amp with external speakers and there is no microphone associated (with higher end amps, I would assume that there is never a microphone). I have the same issue when I run direct line into the amp with my 2014 MacBook Pro. I have to change the input microphone back to internal from AUNE X2 MK2.
