Apple CarPlay stopped working on 2019 VW Jetta

CarPlay stopped working today, after working well for 6-Months. The display on the car kept saying “connect device via USB”.

The solution to the problem was to Reset the “App Connect” within the Reset Factory Settings menu.

Carplay on 2020 mini My carplay had been working fine until about a week ago, when suddenly it stopped. The sat radio and mini apps work fine. The indication that carplay is an option no longer shows up. When I try to restart carplay, following guidance from mini, there is no carplay option to check. Any ideas?

I have been unable to bring up Apple CarPlay on my 2019 Hyundai Kona for a couple of weeks. The icon on my info screen is ghosted and will not highlight. I have tried to reconnect following my Kona manual, uTube and Apple, all with no joy. I have followed instructions from Apple, YouTube, Hyundai online video, and manual with same negative result. I have Siri, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. My iPhone is a XR with iOS 16.6. Also, I’ve tried my wife’s iPhone without success. Is this a common problem with Hyundai? Is there something missing from my iPhone XR?

... To further clarify, the Reset required was on the VW Infotainment system. There was no issue with my iPhone.
