when i play downloaded tracks each one plays more than once... how can i put things back to normal

when i play downloaded music on iTunes eachh track plays more than once... this has only happened in the last couple of weeks and i'd really like to correct it! thank you all

look at the option Controls > Repeat

is it turned on ?
