automatic downloads/App store

My xs will not automatically download updates from App Store when available, I have to manually check. Has anyone else had this problem?

Settings > iTunes & App Store > Updates - is that 'on ?

Does it work when on wifi ? Apps, including updates, won't download over cellular if they are over 150 meg

It does not. I’ve been connected to WiFi for two days straight at times and have had about 3 updates and each one I had to manually download and no notifications.
