Recycling old laptop battery

Recently I had to replace the battery in my Mac Book Air. I'm looking for a solution to recycle the old battery. NOT recycling as in the process of recycling the battery in the computer, BUT finding a safe way to dispose of the old battery that was replaced.

That includes your batteries and old electronic products as well as free, on-demand packaging recycling for our commercial, education, and institutional customers. When we receive your device it will be thoroughly inspected to determine if components can be recycled or reused. Whether recycled or reused all activities relating to the processing of your device will be managed in an environmentally responsible way.

That sounds great. I searched the site but had a hard time finding the exact link that gave directions or addresses to ship devices. Can you please provide that for me?
