Install DVD Player App
I have lost DVD Player app. Gone to re-install downloaded version and get error message because macbook pro has no disk drive. require player to play DVDs saved to disk. How do I work around?

DVD Player is a part of the OSX.
Unless you reinstall the OSX you can not get it separate.
Type "DVD Player" in Spotlight to find it.
If you have Mojave it has moved to this Folder
/System/Library/CoreServices/Applications/
