i have been advised today that emails have been sent to all my contacts asking for EFT payment. I also have recently found that my battery is running low very quickly.
Has my iPad been hacked and jailbroken?
Unless you specifically jailbroke your iPhone it hasn't been. iPad don't just become jailbroken with effort on your part. And you've likely not been hacked on your iPad as iOS is a closed system and can't be hacked. But you should immediately change your email account password as someone could have gotten your email password, but that would have little to do with your iPad.
