pages update date automatically

want to automatically update the date in pages each time the document is opened.

Pages cannot auto-update inserted date fields each time you open a document, or use a template with a date field in it.


However, you can insert a single, borderless table cell with the date format that you prefer, and then enter the formula =now() in it. This will automatically show the current date each time the document is opened.
